Install PermaPlants on Your Device
PermaPlants works as a web app that you can add to your home screen. It opens full-screen like a native app, loads fast, and works offline for plants you've already visited.

iPhone & iPad (Safari)
- 1Open permaplants.terralta.org in Safari (not Chrome or other browsers).
- 2Tap the Share button ⬆ at the bottom of the screen (iPhone) or top (iPad).
- 3Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
- 4Tap "Add". PermaPlants now appears on your home screen with the leaf icon.

Android (Chrome)
- 1Open permaplants.terralta.org in Chrome.
- 2Chrome may show a banner at the bottom saying "Add PermaPlants to Home screen". Tap it.
- 3If no banner appears, tap the three-dot menu ⋮ and select "Add to Home screen" or "Install app".
- 4Tap "Install". The app icon appears on your home screen.

Desktop (Chrome / Edge)
- 1Open permaplants.terralta.org in Chrome or Edge.
- 2Look for the install icon ⊕ in the address bar, or go to the menu and select "Install PermaPlants".
- 3The app opens in its own window, without browser tabs.
